This post is about neither food not travel. Well, time travel, kind of, because these are pictures from the past. Pictures of me that I thought would be fun to share. :)
This is me at Bridal Veil Falls in Provo, Utah last summer. It's a very pretty waterfall.
This is me as a hippie at a Halloween college party a few years ago. Fun times!
This is me on my first day of Brownies. I think I was in maybe 2nd grade.
This is my sister and I when she was a baby. I must have been about five in this picture. I liked making silly faces, haha.
Well, that was a nice little trip down memory lane, wasn't it? :)

ReplyDeleteWas just talking about "memory lane" recently with a bright and beautiful Canadian. Have a safe weekend, Jen, back next week to catch up. Any St. Patrick's Day plans in store?
Jen!
ReplyDeleteOMG Aren't you beautiful, on all the photos but oh soooo very cute in the last 2 photos. Has anyone ever told you of the striking resemblance with you and of child actress (back a few years) of the very talented Hallie Kate Eisenberg? I just saw a 2000 movie with Minnie Driver and Hallie Kate Eisenberg called "Beautiful" Did you see it? I recall she also made a movie with a parrot called "Paulie".
I agree with Al.... P-R-I-C-E-L-E-S-S!

Thanks for the photos of beautiful you and the splendid backdrop the Utah Falls... catch a glimpse of what I babbled about on the previous post. Not my pictures.. http://www.niagarafallslive.com/facts_about_niagara_falls.htm
ReplyDeleteJust gaze at the photos... anyway, a history...
"A Brief History of the Falls
Information below graciously provided courtesy of Niagara Parks Ice Age History of the Niagara River and Whirlpool Rapids....."
I urge you to read about it and see what I have failed to capture myself in photos....it's just too long to copy/paste the text on this website.
Jen and Al,
ReplyDeleteMy last comment before I go to bed... did you guys know this year "2012" marks an anniversary? For my country and yours, I am sure Al knows because he crosses the PEACE BRIDGE often. ( the international bridge between Canada and the USA at the east end of Lake Erie at the source of the Niagara River..yup along the Falls) Two hundred years ago, both our countries were at war, with the war of 1812. Sure I yawned in History class about this war. But you know what? In 1873, the Peace Bridge was named to commemorate 100 years of peace between the USA and Canada. It was constructed as a highway bridge to address the needs of pedestrian and motor vehicle traffic which could not be accommodated on the International Railway BridgeWell. 2012 we've achieved 200 years of peace. WOOHOO!
Al, my plan so far is to go out to a pub with some friends on Saturday night. Tomorrow I'm bringing some cupcakes to work to share with my coworkers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link, Meesh, those falls are beautiful! I have not been told I look like that actress, but I can see the resemblance, with the curly hair. :)
P.S. Happy anniversary of the peace of our countries! :)
