Spring and Pink

It's been far too long since I updated my blog. I can feel Spring approaching, so I thought I would post some pink, springy pictures, as pink is one of my favorite colors.

My friend took this picture of me in San Francisco last time I was there and sent it to me later on. It was a pretty nice, sunny day, but it was still a little chilly, so I wore my favorite pink scarf.

These beautiful cherry blossom trees are everywhere in this area-- in San Jose, in Morgan Hill where I work, and in Milpitas where I went a couple weekends ago to check out the big mall over there. I have been to a different mall every weekend for the past 3 weekends. Not going to the mall this weekend, but I am going to Chinatown to meet up with my sister who's visiting and another friend to get dim sum. It should be a great time. :)

  1. AHHH Look who's Pretty in pink!

I envy you Jen, here where I live, today there were huge gray clouds. That means snow, so nope...I sure won't be seeing pretty pink colours in the trees...only have to resort in looking in my underwear drawer, for now!

    Great post by the way!

  3. Hey Jen!

An interesting post, and you are in good company, because many others around the country are also thinking Spring. A few business signs here actually read "Think Spring" as motorist make our way through town. Pink is a pretty color, so you and Meesh have great taste. What a beautiful cherry blossom photo! I know they are a big draw for tourist in Washington, D.C. in the Spring, but never knew they grew elsewhere--always seem to learn something new whenever I visit--thanks : ) Have a great day, Jen...best wishes for a productive and prosperous week ahead.

  4. I, too, was surprised to see that these cherry blossom trees are everywhere around here. My friend told me there's a very nice cherry blossom festival in D.C. that he enjoys.

It's going to be a busy week, but I'm off to a good start so far. Have a good week, Al!

  5. Hey Jen!

Glad your busy week is off to a good start. Happy your friend is blessed to see such a beautiful display of nature's splendor each year (A wedding photgrapher's dream spot...can almost imagine the sparkling waters of the Potomac River amid all those pretty pink and white cherry blossoms).

Hope you are enjoying this extra day in February.
